Cool little place with an interesting vibe inside. Prices are reasonable. Food was ok, but didn’t blow my mind. Would give 3.5 stars if I could. I heard their poke was very good, but we didn’t get any ourselves this visit — maybe rating would have made the fourth star if we did.
I like how they make their poke bowl like a variety sampler with their four kinds of poke. I thought the wasabi might be too hot for me but it was completely delicious. The other three were great too. I would order this again definitely. Although next time I want to try their other dishes.
Food is pretty good. Limited seating, not much service (bus your own table). Prices were about the same as what a food truck we were considering eating at, so eating inside with air conditioning won out. Fresh fish when available is charged at a premium over their frozen offerings.
Staff are very friendly. They have both indoor and outdoor seating (in the shade). Sometimes there is a line, but you can always call ahead and order. Prices are average for the area. Portions are of good size.
Picture is of the Captains Platter. All the seafood tasted fresh, and everything was crispy. French fries were also crispy and not soggy.
Ono-licios! Everything is excellent and worth trying! Poke bowl is always awesome. Try the sampler - includes Shoyu, Furikake, Wasabi & Spicy.
Fish tacos - served on flour tortilla with cheese & lettuce. Comes with coleslaw & fries. Spicy or mild salsa. (Corn tortilla are not an option.)
Go early for fresh fish, it’s popular and they sell out of the good stuff!!
Food was really good. Get the poke bowl-- they have a really good wasabi sauce on the rice. The rice was a little too wet in my opinion but everything was good nonetheless. We also got a bowl of chowder, which we think is made with coconut milk so if that's your thing, you'll really enjoy it.
The food here was so good. Their poke bowl was amazing. Three different kinds of ahi tuna. Their combo plate lunch came with short ribs, teriyaki chicken and fried fish. The ribs were loaded with flavor and for whatever reason the tarter sauce on the fish hit the spot.
My wife got the coconut shrimp and loved them. We got the fish n chips and cheese burger kids meals too. The cheeseburger was just a burger on a bun - nothing special.
When we went today the city had shut off the water for the day, so the fountain drinks and everything else requiring water didn’t work which sucked. But not their fault. I’ll definitely be back.
I love this place. I only come once or twice a year when I'm on the island. Hours have changed so it took a couple of days to make it work. They are always closed on weekends but now they close at 4pm during the week. Their main business is delivering fresh seafood to local businesses so you know their food is fresh!
